Eugenia Lavonne Trammell

Eugenia Lavonne Trammell, age 60, of Dayton, OH, departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, May 16, 2025 after a lengthy illness. She was born to Mary Ann and Jep Trammell Sr. and one of seven children.

She worked at H&L Market and loved to cook. She attended Colonel White High School, was active in ROTC, held a marksmanship certificate, and graduated in 1982.

Preceded in death by her father, Jep Trammell Sr.

Eugenia leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mary Ann Trammell; daughter, Keona Carr (Gregory); son, Marvin Carr (Shelly); father of children, Michael Carr; sisters, Marsha Trammell, Teresa (Lorenzo) Payne, Bridgette Trammell, Nikla Trammell, Jennelle Flemister-Silkert (Derrick); brothers, Jep (Holli) Trammell Jr., Corbet Trammell, Myron Stewart, Jermon Trammell (nephew/brother), Quinton (Tereion) Sims, Shawn (Josette) Jones; four grandchildren, Jah’Nova, Journyee’, Profytt and Phoenyxx-Michael;  special friend, Michael Johnson and her dog Liberti; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and friends.

Funeral service 11 am Saturday, May 31, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends.
