Erica Ashley Casey Revere

Erica Casey-Revere, age 47, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Erica was a Dayton native born on July 3, 1978, to Eric & Mona Casey. As an infant Erica went to live with Edith Revere and her family. Erica and her older brother, Kenneth A. Culbreath-Revere, were later adopted by the Revere family.

Erica graduated from Dayton Christian High School where she played basketball, which she loved and was quite good. Erica was blessed to enjoy several careers. She served in the United States Air Force, she was a phlebotomist, and a master barber.

Erica’s relationship with the Lord began at an early age. She was a life-long member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and mission ministries. Many knew of her great love for God and, would often tell those she loved to trust His plan.

Erica is survived by her 2 sons, Glenn and Elijah McGee; her mother, Edith Revere; her 3 brothers, Steven Traynham, Malcolm Revere and Kenneth Culbreath-Revere; her 3 sisters, Kirsten Revere, Delia Revere and Constance Revere-Wells; many nephews and nieces with a special relationship with her nephew, A.J. Revere; a host of other relatives and friends including her very special friends, Emma Snell and Clinton Yokley along with a special thanks to April for all her love for Erica. Erica felt blessed to have 3 families and is also survived by a host of Casey and Culbreath birth family members.

Erica will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral service 11 am Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 2262 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
