Eilean (Edmonds) Brown, age 65, born December 5, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, transitioned with the Lord May 13, 2021.
Eilean worked as a caregiver for over 20 years. She accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Tabernacle Church for numerous years. Eilean enjoyed traveling places, entertaining and fashion. She was always making time for family and friends; visiting the sick and shut-in. Eilean was a dedicated wife, who strongly believed in family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Donald and Ruby Edmonds; brothers, James Edmonds, Charles Edmonds and Roy “Buster” Donald; sisters, Mary Donald and Deloris Edmonds.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dillard Brown; son, Frederick Edmonds of Dayton; daughters, DonShae (Cornelius) Hurt, and Chaleen (Chawnsae) Redd of Georgia; grandchildren, Kenny, Chelsea, Chawnsae Jr., Quazim, Ocie, Sanaia, Chasen, Cori, and Caiden; great grandchildren, Priya, Malaysia, Michael, and Avah; sisters, Lola Donald of Dayton, and Betty Pinson of New York; brothers, Willie (Terri) Edmonds of Indiana, Gary (Jackie) Edmond and Sherman Edmonds of Dayton; sister-in-law, Tonya Brown; special and dear friend, Sharon “Sherry” Thompson, and best friend, Jeannette Wiggins-Stoudermire; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Homegoing service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at The Gateway Cathedral, 5501 Olive Rd., Trotwood. Rev. Norman Scearce III officiating. Visitation 10 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
