Donnie Reid, of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life November 10, 2021 at 67 years young.
Donnie enjoyed baseball and football, and was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. When Donnie returned home from the military, he was a changed man. He was “Fly”, I mean three-piece suit “fly”. He came up with little sayings, but his all-time favorite was “Bip, bip, bip, Bap, bap, bap, Boya, welcome to the Parteee”. He will always be known for his sayings and his laughter.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Wadell Ward and mother, Christine A. Ward; brother, Jeffrey Ward; sister, Deborah J. Reid.
He leaves to cherish his life, brothers, Jonathan A. (Michelle) Ward, Michael H. (Kolisia) Ward; sisters, Christie L. Greene, Glenda (Russell) Coleman, Benita Ward; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and military buddies.
Walk-through visitation 9-11 am Wednesday, November 17, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Service at 11 am. (Mask Required). Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
