Donnie William Murray

Donnie W. Murray, age 70, was born on June 14, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Earnest W. Murray and Ann M. Brooks. He departed this life Saturday, October 7, 2023.

Donnie was a graduate of Roosevelt High School class of 1972. Donnie was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for the V.A. Medical Center in Dayton, OH, along with that he also completed customer service training at Sinclair Community College.

Donnie was a kind, loving and caring man; he cherished his family, friends, and his 2 dogs, Red and Blue. He enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, and most of all the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Donnie leaves to cherish in his memory, 2 daughters, Donita Murray and Diona Murray; stepdaughter, Rosalind Leininger; 3 brothers, Charles Jackson (Diane), Gregory Murray (Phyllis), and Larry Murray; 3 sisters, Annette Rowsom, devoted sister Faye Murray, and Mary Lindsey; grandchildren, Christian, Christopher, DeMarco, Dontae, Alexis, Thomas Jr., and Trinity; numerous great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Donnie will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Visitation 9 am- 11 am Thursday, October 19, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Funeral service begins at 11 am. Pastor Norman C. Bradfield officiating.
