Donald Earl Figgers

Donald Earl Figgers was born on August 10, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio to Woodie and Dorothy Figgers. He departed this life for his heavenly home peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital.

Donald was a loving and quite soul who enjoyed life and touched others with his presence and joyful nature. He touched the lives and befriended all whom he came in contact with. He served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves.

Donald is preceded in death by his loving wife Deborah; parents, Woodie C. and Dorothy M. Figgers; sister, Daphore Elaine Turner-Figgers (Dwight Turner); maternal grandparents, Samuel and Lueida Jordan, paternal grandparents, Henry and Ora Belle Figgers; uncles, James, Cecil (Lucille), Roy (Shirley). Curtis (Annie B), Bobbie (Clister), MacArthur Jordan, Aunts, Corrine (Nathaniel) Hooks, Rosie (Jerry) Sargeant, Barbara (Virgil) Powe, Jennieve Thomas, dear great uncle and aunt, Bishop Major and Pink Lee Pugh.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories by his siblings. David, Ronnie (Darlene), Valerie (Terrell) Pollard, Hope Figgers, nieces and nephews, Bryan, Lia, Aaron (Shannon) Turner, Tiffany Rogan; great nieces and nephews, Briaunna (Ibrahim) Mohamed of Columbus, Ohio, Jalen Freeman, Jordan Turner, Tyler Rogan, Kennedi Turner, Aaron Jr. Mason and Cash Turner; uncle, John (Jean) Jordan, aunts Ida McNeal, Irma Johnson, Dayton, OH, Joanna Neal, Waynesboro, MS close cousin Dexter McNeal, close friend, Marcus Thomas. A host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 11 am Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
