Dolores Leola-Fae Doss (Watts), age 93, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at The OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Born January 19, 1933, in Docena, Alabama, she was raised in Benham, Kentucky and later made Ohio her home. Dolores was a devoted homemaker, a former nursing assistant at Dayton State Hospital, and a dedicated volunteer at Grace United Methodist Church. She was a loving matriarch who cherished time with her family and was known for her warm spirit, beautiful smile, and kind heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Doss; first husband, Heaston Brooks; her parents; brothers; her son, Melvin Edward Brooks; and grandson, Brandon Edward Taylor.
She is survived by her children: Suza Burks (Stevie), Quenetta Wolan (John), and Todd Doss; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45406. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will follow begins at 11:00 a.m. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
