Dianna Taylor was born on September 1, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio, she was one of six children from the union of James and Amelia Taylor.
She was a graduate of Colonel White High School. She attended Sinclair Community College for Chemical Dependency. She also was a graduate of Missionary School North Carolina. She worked as a general laborer for six years. Dianna loved the Lord. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ and on Friday, June 12, 2026, Dianna was called home to be with the Lord.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, Amelia Taylor and James Taylor; brother, Douglas Williams.
She leaves to cherish three sons, Demetrius Hodges (Jessica Chandler), Daniel and David Rucker; daughter, Daniell Brown; six grandchildren, Jamaycia Gordon, Mersades Mackey, Darnell and Da’Marion Calahan, Destiny Hodges, Dylan Chandler; 7th grandchild, Dynasty Hodges, due to arrive in July; three great grandchildren, Rodney Ramey III, Amelia Elijah, Legend Calahan; three sisters, Veronica Williams, Karen Taylor, Johanna Taylor; one brother, Robert Taylor; special friends Alicia Sanford and Mendell White; and host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorial Service 1 pm Thursday, June 25, 2026 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Callings hours 11 am- 1 pm. Family will receive friends 12 pm- 1 pm.
