Darryle (Mack) Carver Jackson Jr.

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Darryle (Mack) Carver Jackson, Jr. was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He gained his wings on February 25, 2026.

Mack graduated from John H. Patterson Cooperative High School in 1987 and attended Knoxville College. He later earned an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and went on to graduate from Bowie State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

Mack enjoyed listening to music and never met a stranger. He loved engaging in conversations about politics, sports, and sharing cherished memories. A true jokester with the gift of gab, he could light up any room. One of his favorite sayings was, “The answer is no until you ask.”

As a contractor, Darryle worked for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing within the Department of Treasury, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). While supporting NGA, he proudly served two tours in Afghanistan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darryle C. Jackson, Sr. and Lillian Deloris (Lois) Jackson; his grandparents, Marvin and Lillie Dixon and Juanita Battles.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two amazing children, Janay Denise Jackson and Darryle Carver Jackson, III; two brothers, Darren Christopher Jackson and Devaughn Craig Jackson; bonus sister, Erica Neal; Aunt Marvalene Raglin; three nieces, Cydni, Kimika, and Courtney; three nephews, Christopher, Cameron, and Cory; along with a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Funeral Service 11 am Saturday, March 7, 2026 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Minister Raleigh Thornton Jr., officiating.
