Darlena Arnold, age 67, of Dayton, Ohio, was born August 6, 1954, to the late David and Elizabeth Cooper.
She worked at General Motors for many years. Darlena had a heart of gold, and a one-of-a-kind fashion sense. She loved playing cards, dancing, and being around family and friends.
Darlena was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel “Mitzy” Oliver; brothers, Howard Cooper, Kevin Anderson; nephew, Rodney Oliver; special mom, Alice Purdue; father of son, Gary Jarman; special sister, Diane Purdue.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Gary E. Arnold and his fiancée, Pamela; granddaughter, British Arnold; special companion, Michael Walker; brothers, (twin) David (Teresa) Arnold of Dayton, Charles (Joann) Arnold of California; nephews, William Oliver, David Moore; nieces, Laquata (Timothy) Allen, Latasha Baccus, Ja-Nay Wright, Rochelle Buckley, Shawntae Oliver and Jalana Arnold; special cousin, Alisa Dorsey; special friends, Tony Smith, Timothy “T-Bone” Manson and family, Donye McCall and family, the Purdue family, the Hunter family, Tyree Jarman, Sheree Jarman; and many great- nieces and nephews.
Walk-through visitation 9-11 am Wednesday, January 19, at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Funeral service at 11 am. (Mask Required). Interment West Memory Gardens.
