Damikka Renee Maxwell

Damikka Renee Maxwell, age 51, a native of Dayton, Ohio was born September 1, 1973. Damikka departed this life Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Damikka was known for her resilience, and the fierce love that she had for her mother, sons, and grandchildren.  She embraced life’s challenges one at a time and always found a way to have fun.  Damikka loved hard and always did her best to show up in any way that she knew how.  She always found comfort in watching horror movies and listening to music, which is something she passed to her sons.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Woodrow and Doris Underwood Jr.

Damikka leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Lillie (Polk) McCray; sons, Ralonte (Danica) Maxwell, Rayshawn Jeffery, Michael Ward Jr.; grandchildren, Aiden Maxwell, Rayan Maxwell, and Morgan Maxwell; along with a host of other relatives, family and friends.

Memorial service 12 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 3375 W. Siebenthaler Ave., Dayton, OH. Calling hour 11 am- 12 pm at which time family will receive friends.
