Dallas Kash Crane

Dallas Kash Crane, born on May 23, 2025 in Dayton, Ohio, was unexpectedly called home on August 25, 2025. In his short amount of time, Dallas surely made an impact on his family’s life.

Dallas was such a sweet and happy baby, always smiling and even in the later weeks of his life, cooing constantly.

He was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all of those around him. Dallas will be forever remembered and loved by his parents, Eleesa and Daniel, and his big brother, Mateo; Godmom Jona; Godsister Herisse; grandparents Brooke McCormick, Reginald Woodson, and Daniel J. Crane II; aunts Destany Marshall, Danielle Crane, Daynasia Perry, Aniyah Lillard, and Sydni Sudduth; uncles Edward and Elijah McGee and Devin Crane; cousins Penelope K. McGee and Ry’elle Satterwhite-McGee; great-grandparents, Lisa and Kevin Jackson, Jessie M. Crane, and Reginald and Deborah Woodson. Great-aunts Janet N. Hargrave and Sherea Woodson; Great-uncles Jordan (Darnell), John D. Hargrave Jr., Terrell Woodson, Stevin Crane, Erik Crane, and Aviahn Greene.

A host of special aunts and uncles that include Jayona Franklin, Sam, Morgan McDaniel, Sonya, Sharee, Auja, Noelle, Chris Mack, Hunter Wallace, Jean (John) Hunter, Robert Williams, and Raygee Warden as well as his special cousin, Jayden.

Dallas is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Dana R. Harding, uncle Hayden C. Jackson and great-grandparents Joan E. Moore, Joe Ivory Fite, Steven R. Crane, James Harding, Susan Y. Miller, and Emile C. Miller and cousin Sha’nya Woodson.

Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful time with our precious Dallas.

Funeral service 11 am Thursday, September 4, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am.
