Crewsada Parks

PARKS, Crewsada, age 70, born August 8, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, departed this earthly journey to be with the Lord Saturday, January 19, 2021. She was a graduate of Roth High School, Class of 1969. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree from Wilberforce University, Class of 1973. Crewsada retired from the Dayton Power and Light Company after many years of service.

Crewsada had a loving spirit and an unforgettable smile. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She had an undeniable strength. She was a prime example of life’s “lemonade”. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. Crewsada was so loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lewronia (Ball) Hall; father, Nathiel Hall Sr.; uncle, Jim Crowder; aunt, Mary Emma Crowder; sisters, Genell Hall and Margaret Dixon; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Beach and Frank Joe Dixon Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Renee’ Parks; grandchildren, Dynasty Parks, Dylan Thomas, and Dy’Eirre Parks; siblings, Penelope “Penny” (Bill) Dunson, Ardie Beach-Hall, Nathiel (Judy) Hall; great aunt, Elizabeth Crowder, all of Dayton; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Walk-through visitation 9-11 am Friday, January 22, 2021 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Private Service. Interment West Memory Gardens.
