Cora Ann Heath

Cora Ann Heath, 78, of Dayton, OH passed away on April 4, 2023. Cora was born on February 1, 1945 in Dalton, Georgia to the late George C. Jordan Sr. and Janie Mae (Patton) Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, McArthur G. Heath; 2 brothers, George C. Jordan Jr. and William Jordan; grandson, Jeron L Watson; brother-in-law, J.E. Heath.
Cora Ann was a caring and loving mother who was always there when help was needed. She was thoughtful of others and would lend a helpful hand whenever she could.  Cora was a graduate of Dunbar High School and attended San Bernardino College in San Bernardino, CA. Upon returning to Dayton, OH, she went to Honey’s School of Cosmetology and would become a government retiree of 33 years from the Department of Defense Finance Accounting Service.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Gaye A. Jordan (Stanley), Sherri A. Heath, McArthur G. Heath II (Tiffany); sister, Frances Wilcox; step-brother, Larry Jefferson; grandchildren, Joshua L. Heath, Shilamar Heath, Aaron D. Dugger Jr.,  Jamiere M Heath, Shyann Heath, Jaiden M Moore; two great grandchildren, Malik Akbar III, Sha’miyah Akbar; sisters-in-law, Jimmie Coleman (Arthur), Margie L. Heath, Lilly M. Heath; 11 nieces, 2 of which were very special Norma Jordan, Celeste Jordan; 7 nephews and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 12:30 pm Friday, April 21, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 9 am- 12:30 pm. Family will receive friends 11:30 am- 12:30 pm. (Mask Required). Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
