Carolyn J. Glanton, age 72, of Dayton, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2025. Carolyn was born in Newnan, GA, on June 9, 1952, to Garland and Oretha Glanton. She was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1970. She retired after a fulfilling career in the Healthcare Industry. She was dedicated to serving others with kindness and expertise. For many years, she provided compassionate care, touching countless lives. She had a deep desire to make a difference in her patients’ lives, which was evident in every aspect of her career.
Carolyn was a member of Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church where she served many years with the Health Professionals Auxiliary. Carolyn lived a life full of faith, love, and devotion to God, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering love for the Lord was evident in everything she did – whether through acts of kindness, service to others, or her deep commitment to her church community. Carolyn’s faith was her guiding light, and she found tremendous joy in sharing the love of the Lord with others.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Oretha Glanton; her siblings, Patricia, Jeannette, Donald and Marsha Glanton.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memory, a son Jason Glanton; sisters, Shelia and Mary Glanton; brother, Larry Glanton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Funeral service 12 pm Friday, March 21, 2025 at Bethesda Temple, 3701 Salem Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 11 am- 12 pm at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
