Carol D. Hinesman, born on December 3, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, entered into rest on November 3rd 2024. She was the beloved eldest daughter of Catherine and Louise Richardson and devoted mother to her daughter, Anesha, and grandmother to Kingston.
Carol was a proud graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School dynamic class of 1975 and attended Wright State University, where she pursued studies in Business Administration. Her professional journey spanned 39 years with Montgomery County Job and Family Services, where she worked as a case manager, helping countless families with compassion and dedication.
A woman of many passions, Carol was an avid reader and a lover of music. She enjoyed line dancing and ballroom dancing, sharing her love of movement and rhythm with others. Her strong faith was an integral part of her life, and she was an active founding member of Omega Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and engaged in Bible study with her church sisters. For many years, Carol directed the children’s choir affectionately known as the “Sunshine Choir.” Carol had a deep love for the children in her family and the children in her church, nurturing them with care and encouragement. She believed that the Word of God was alive in the world and in her life. She was also a Cleveland Brown fan, cheering them on in her orange and brown!
Carol's devotion to her family was unwavering. She was especially close to her daughter Anesha and adored her grandson Kingston. She lovingly cared for her mother, Catherine, and was a source of strength and support for her family throughout her life. As the eldest daughter, Carol embodied leadership, grace, and generosity, always putting others first.
Her family and friends will remember her for her kind heart, her glowing smile, and her selfless spirit. Carol’s legacy will live on through the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
