Brenda Lee Boyd

Brenda Lee Boyd was born June 23,1949,departed this life on June 20, 2024. She was a native of Dayton Ohio and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Brenda retired from General Motors and was a member of Deborah Chapter No.19 Order of the Easter Stars Prince Hall Affiliated for 25+ years.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of over 35 years James Boyd Sr.; father and mother Walter and Lillie Mae Crowder; brothers, Walter, Paul, and Charles Crowder; sisters, Venna Caldwell, Inez Dixon and Margaret Dandy; and grandson, Antonio Boyd.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Dottie Hamilton, Gloria Gunn; brothers, Robert and Dennis Crowder(Carmen); daughter, Alicia Evans; son, James Boyd Jr.; grandchildren, Remy Boyd, Charles Ramey Jr., Jamicheal Ramey; 11 great grandchildren; (special niece, Kanika Crowder) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation 10 am- 12:30 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH. Family to receive friends 11:30 am- 12:30 pm. Eastern Star service 12:30 pm- 1 pm. Funeral service begins at 1 pm. Interment West Memory Gardens.
