EMBRY, Barbara Ann, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, born January 22, 1942 in Winchester, Kentucky, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Dayton, Ohio.
Barbara graduated from Roosevelt High School, and then continued her education to Central State University by earning her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She retired from Dayton Power & Light Company after 20+ years.
Barbara loved spending time with her family. Throughout the years she loved to cook, shop, sew and plant flowers. She was a faithful member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Her greatest accomplishment was her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, all of whom she was extremely proud of and loved very much.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Embry, Alice Stevenson-Caesar; brothers, Malik Fallah (Michael A Stevenson), and Robert D Caesar.
She is survived by and leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: her son, Christopher D (Angela) Embry; grandchildren, Ciara (Christian) Myers, Christopher M and Kirsten Embry; great grandchildren, and Aunt BB; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends who grieve her passing.
Mass of Christian burial 10:30 am Wednesday, March 31, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 4961 Salem Ave., Trotwood. Visitation 9:30-10:30 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
