Arthur Eugene Allen Jr.

Arthur Eugene "Scoreboard" Allen Jr., age 60, of Dayton, Ohio, received his wings on Sunday May 21, 2023.  Art was born 04/11/1963 Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton Ohio.  Art is preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents Ollie and Roger Bailey Paternal Grandparents Emma and Arthur Eugene Allen. Father Arthur Eugene (Buddy) Allen sr.  Brother Jeffrey D. Allen. Nephew Rion Lamar Allen.  Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins And friends.

Art Grew up In Crown Point, and went to Dayton Public Schools Graduating from Nettie Lee Roth High School Class of 1981. He served in the United States Army. He loved his career in trucking Spending over 38 years in the Trucking business.  He had a passion for NHRA (Drag Racing) and spent many a day enjoying life at the track.  He loved traveling with the family and friends. He loved sitting on the porch or in the Basement with his boys sitting back in the cut with that big grin.

Art leaves to cherish his memory His devoted mother Wilma Jean Allen. His Beloved wife of 28 Years Joy Allen. Children Jazmine and Jeanna, Grandchildren Jayla, Sincere and Janyiah and Tanajah.  Brother Sean A. Allen, Brother in-law Mario (Pat) Bogle. Sisters in-love Cassandra (Kay) Gregory, Rozlin Goodwin and Stacey Dyer.    Special Nieces Jamilla and Willena Sneed. Nephews Mario (Veronica) Bogle Jr, Jarrod Bogle, Sean Allen Jr, Sean Holley and Bailey Allen, Micaha Allen.  Aunt Anita Dianne Tucker, Great Uncle Bobby (Dorothy) Bailey. His Crew: Anthony Chop Wortham, Anthony Sain, Jep Trammell, Jeff Hall, Kenno Clements, Steph,   Anthony Boddie, Big O, Bill Hawk and Tony Crimes.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

 Funeral service 11 am Monday, June 5, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. (Mask Optional).
