Anita Kay Dudley, age 60, born September 5, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio, entered into her heavenly home Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Anita attended Northview School and worked at Monco Enterprises.
She was a long-time member of McKinley United Methodist Church and was active with Sunday School. In her youth, Anita was also active with Girl Scouts, Jack & Jill Teens of America, Northview Cheerleading, and Special Olympics. In her adult years, she was active with Beach Volleyball, Bowling League, and found time to work every day. Anita loved her paychecks! Throughout her youth and adult years, Anita’s parents kept her very busy and active. Anita had a passion for artistic painting and some of her artwork was on display at Monco Enterprises. Another passion for Anita was enjoying great food and especially dessert.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie J. and Ruth Ann Dudley; maternal grandparents, Carl and Lillie Day; paternal grandparents, Acie and Kate Dudley.
Anita leaves to mourn her passing siblings, Edward C. (Tracy), Michael A. (Veronica) of Dayton, Ohio and Denise A. of North Bergen, NJ; aunt Lenora Wade of Dayton, Ohio; special aunt and uncle, Benita and Edward Daniel of Dayton; nieces, Renecha R. and ReAnna L. Dudley; nephew Cameron Dudley all of Dayton, Ohio; special caregiver, Tori Tannehill; a host of “special friends”, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A special thanks to the caring medical and nursing staff of Stonespring Skilled Nursing Facility, Kindred Hospital, and Austin Trace Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral service 12 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at McKinley United Methodist Church, 196 Hawthorn St. Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 11 am-12 pm at which time family will receive friends. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Arrangement
