Andrew C Lewis Jr.

Mr. Andrew C. Lewis Jr. was born on February 2, 1947 in Yazoo, Mississippi. He departed his journey of life on Friday, April 28, 2023.   He was a retired employee at Dayton Press with many years of service.  He was also a celebrated artist and painter throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Lewis Sr. and Helen Lewis, along with his brother, Robert Lewis.

He leaves to cherish in memory his wife, Brenda Lewis; daughters, Yolanda (Ronald) Wilson and Eulanda Bogle; sons, Jerome and Kris Bogle from Dayton, Ohio; siblings, Johnny Lewis, Perry (Patty) Lewis, and Cora Lewis; sisters-in-law, Paulette Allen-Floyd (Jerry) and Glenda Ellison (Kevin Henderson); brother-in-law, Andre Allen (Kimberly). Through his life he leaves an abundance of grandchildren to the world: Ashley, Rome, Daeonna, India, Kanada, Ivy, Antowine, and Davone. He also leaves a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends, Bubie Boles and Michael Johnson.

Funeral service 1 pm Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 11 am- 1 pm. Family will receive friends 12 pm-1pm. (Mask Required). Pastor Robert Thornton Sr. officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens.
