Those that loved and preceded him in death was his father, Alfred Charles Hale Sr.; his son, Alfred Charles Hale III; his bonus brother, Derek McComb; His paternal grandparents, Frank and Marcella Sewell; his maternal grandparents, James Norman Sr. and Dorothy Jones; his maternal great grandparent, Eddie and Alsestia Berry, Mattie Foster; his uncles, William Sewell, Melvin Jones Sr., James Norman Jr., and Joe; his aunts, Mary Thorpe (Nathaniel), Ida Berry, Susie Harris (Robert), Ruby Vinsang; and a host more of family and friends.

Alfred Charles Hale Jr. was loved and those that will forever cherish the gift and the memories of him is his devoted mother, Mattie Hale Coleman; his God daughter, Jani Yah Middlebrook; his sister, Endia Baker, his niece, DiYoncea Morris (Cortez); his nephew, Torreigh Watson; his great niece, Reign Watson; his aunts, Mary Bruce (Ronald), Alice Taylor, Jean Bridges, Sarah Lawhorn, Beaulah Jackson (Lewis), Eddie Mae Reed (Jerry), Jeanette Lee; brothers, Michael Lee, Eric Kelso, Melvin Jones Jr., Vincent Irving, James Carr III; close friends, Ashely “Boog” Thomas (Toya), Darrell Watson, Joseph Middlebrook, Ramon Johnson, Robert Bradley, Ahmed Evans, Nellie Bailey, Reese Bailey, Keisha Birdsong; the Arena family; a host more of family and friends.

Funeral service 11 am Monday, November 10, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens.
