AJ Brown

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of AJ Brown, who departed this life on December 2, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 10, 1943, AJ lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and love for his family.

AJ was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father; his sisters Bernice Smith and Ella Mae Smith; and his brothers Isadora Brown, Walter James Brown, and Hosie Crump.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two children, James Brown and Erica (Maurice Earley); along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

AJ Brown will be remembered for his warm heart, quiet strength, and the love he showed to everyone around him. His legacy continues through the many lives he touched.

May he rest in eternal peace.

Funeral Service 11 am Friday, December 12, 2025 at Omega Baptist Church, 1821 Emerson Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation 9 am- 11 am. Family will receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home.
