Willie Peterson, Jr.

Peterson Jr., Willie, age 69, born February 15, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Willie and Leona Peterson, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. Willie was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1968. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1970 and upon separation was a severely disabled veteran until passing. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clinton and Terry; niece, Tasha R. Bonner; grandson George L. Dewberry Jr. He is survived by sons, Willie J. Burns, George L. Dewberry Sr.; siblings, Dondi Peterson, Kevin (Alicia) Peterson, Sherry Woods, Thomas Sr. (Leola) Peterson, Stacey Rudy, all of Dayton, OH; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation 9-10 am Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Graveside service will be held 10:30 am at the Dayton National Cemetery
