Taelor Todd Taylor

Taylor, Taelor Todd, age 28, born September 23, 1989 to Mark Mays and the late RonSabrinia Taylor Haywood, transitioned from this earthy life to be in the presence of the Lord Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was a graduate of Luther E. Ball High School in Cleveland, OH, Class of 2010, and attended barbering classes. Taelor was baptized in Jesus’ name and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member. Taelor was very intelligent, an honor student receiving all A’s and B’s. He was a loving young man who would not harm anyone. He was kind and especially fond of the elderly. Taelor loved spending time with his children and other family members. He enjoyed attending family gatherings, watching football games, playing video games and he had a huge collection of model cars since childhood.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Taylor.

He leaves to cherish precious memories children, Ryan Casey, Zariah Lofton, Zaniah and TaeRon Taylor; father, Mark Mays; father who raised him, Randy Matthew, Sr.; stepfather, David Odell Haywood; grandmother, Bertha Taylor; siblings, Randy Matthew, Jr.; aunts, Elizabeth Ganious, Theresa (CL) Blair-Parks and Rachel (Victor) Eneh of Texas;  uncles, Kevin (Denise) Taylor, Norman Scearce of TX, Eric (Judy) Boyd, David (Mia) Vance and Jimmie Brooks; godparents, Fred and Florence Steed; best friend, David Vance; dear friends, Nikkie Black and Chantelle (Gabriel) William; a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, December 8, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 5370 Dayton-Liberty Rd. Visitation 9 am Friday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
