Steven Glenn Calloway, Sr.

Steven Glenn Calloway, Sr., born September 26, 1985 to Diane Calloway and the late Glenn S. Morton in Dayton, Ohio, departed this life unexpectedly May 11, 2017. He was educated in the Dayton Public School System, attending Dunbar High School and Sinclair Community College. Preceded in death by his father, Grandmother, Cynthia A. Simmons; Aunt, Donna J. Cummings; Maternal Great Grandparents, Lester and Hattie Calloway; Uncle, Oscar D. Goines, Jr.; Paternal Great Grandmother, Teresa Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory: Son, Steven G. Calloway, Jr.; Daughters, Ta’Niya and Latayja Calloway; Mother, Diane Calloway; Grandmother, Charlotte Shields; Special friend and mother of his son, Diamond Whitfield; Sisters, Ebony Calloway (Henry Rayford) and Takiyah Blalock; A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church, 3701 Salem Avenue. Visitation 9 am Tuesday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Assoc. Pastor Donald Edwards officiating, Dr. Craig S. High, eulogist. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery.
