CARTER, Sarah B., age 88, of Dayton, born June 2, 1928 in Marion, IN, passed away May 23, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, Perry Carter; parents, Claude and Martha Jackson; daughters, Lynn Fletcher, Susan Carter Miller “Sue”, Denise Carter “Dee”; brothers, Wallace, Bill and John Jackson, Leonard Hahn; sisters, Martha Patterson “Lovy”, Betty Stevens. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Dorothy Carter Kinney, Sherry Carter Little; sons, Eric “Ricky”, Perry, Ambrose “Stan” and Lewell “Andre” Carter; grandchildren she raised, Deona and Love “Vonnie” Carter, Chiquita Carter Chihi “Kita”, oldest grandson, Darryl Kinney “Day Day”, a host of other grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 9:30 am Friday, June 2, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation 8:30 am at which time family will receive friends.
