Sara Katheryn Wilson

Sara Katheryn Wilson, born February 11, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, departed this earthy life September 18, 2019.  

She will best be remembered for her welcoming love, nurturing spirit, amazing food, beauty, and her memorable kisses. Her contributions to this world were being a child of God, mother, homemaker, wife, friend, daughter, model and a brick house. She was a free spirit that lived life to the beat of her own drum. She could be the life of the party and be the calm to your storm. Every room she entered was filled with unconditional love and acceptance. Her support and ability to love were beyond this world. She was and will continue to be a blessing to us all. She has left her mark on the world and on each and every one of our hearts.

Sara is preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Stevens and her father, Gunther Stevens. Sara joins her beloved sisters, Dorothy Harrison, Thelma Young, Armada McDonald and her grandchildren, Maurice Stevens, Camariana Stevens, and Cire’ Stevens.

Sara leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Frank Wilson, her sisters, Mattie Howard, Hettie Shephard, Edwenia Rutledge, and brother, Jerry Stevens. Her children, Cam Stevens, Cashius Stevens, and Vanity Wilson. Her grandchildren, Ceon Stevens, Dana Isreal III, Cashius Stevens Jr., Vayla Harris, Cali Stevens, Cadaj Stevens, Monroe Stevens, Keon Stevens, and a precious baby on the way. Sara also leaves to cherish her memory a host of close friends and family.

Memorial and Repast will be held 1-5 pm Friday, September 27, 2019 at Unity Banquet Center, 505 Bolander Ave., Dayton.
