Ronald Favors

FAVORS, Ronald, age 48, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Kettering Hospital. Ronald was born February 4, 1971 in Dayton at St. Elizabeth Hospital to the late Jack and Evelyn L. Favors. He was with Composite Technologies and also worked part-time for Montgomery County before becoming disabled. With all that Ronald was going through with his health, he didn’t let that stop him. He did not hesitate to be everyone’s helper.

Ronald always spoke of keeping faith, trusting in the Lord, not to worry, and trusting God to handle all things. He was a great father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed beyond measure and will forever be remembered and honored. He was the best pet owner, and will truly be missed by “Champ” and “Trinity”.

Preceded in death by Wendell Favors, Tommy Favors, baby Jackie, and twin brother, Donald.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 21 years, Pamela Favors; son, Quinton Favors; brothers, Terrence (Karen) Favors of Ludowici, Georgia, Anthony Michael Favors of Dayton; sisters, Jacqueline, Stephanie and Josie Favors of Dayton; nieces, Toccara Leiter, Chrisha Sinkule, Felicia Favors, Jasmine Greene, Angel Bryant, N’Dea Story, Precious and Ashlyn; nephews, Wendell Favors, Jr., Tommy Favors, Jr., Kane Greene, Michael James, Michael Favors, Jr., DeAksan Winston; great nieces and nephews, Sabrina, Sheena, Nicholas, Svetlana, Liana, Cherish, Destiny, John Maria, Jonathan Eli; devoted nephews, John Favors, Quincy Reed and Noah Fuller; other nieces and nephews, LaQuita Hunt, Daniell Johnson, DaleShay Sures, JaQuan Reed, and special nephew, Quincy Reed, Brendon Jr., Baretta Jr., Pierre, Paris, Briaya and Dave Byrdsong; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Yolanda Shackelford, Brendon Byrdsong, Baretta Byrdsong Sr., Stanley Byrdsong; a host of other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Davita Dialysis Center for taking care of Ronald.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
