Reno Piner

PINER, Pastor Reno, age 90, of Dayton, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 28, 2018. Born January 25, 1928 to the late M. C. and Leola (Bostic) Piner in Eclectic, AL. He was retired Pastor of Gateway Missionary Baptist Church and from WCXL Radio. Preceded in death by Lillian Piner (mother of children); 10 siblings including Pastor William Piner. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife of 12+ years, Shelia L. Piner; children, Carole (Benny) Redmond, Brenda Faye Morgan, Danny Piner, Frederick Piner, Rodney (Chanda) Reese, Jackie (Lorenzo) Walker, Kelly Reese; special grandchildren, Mark (Sandra) Redman, Bridgette Raye, Aalliyah Reese; a host of other relatives and friends. Homegoing service will be held 1 pm Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc. 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Interment West Memory Gardens, Visitation 10 am until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior.
