Norman Kilgore, age 67, a native of Dayton, departed this life Sunday, February 24, 2019. Norman was an employee for many years at the Calumet Center for Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Currently, he attended Marimart Day-Habilitation Center in Trotwood, Ohio. He was a member of the Power House of Faith Church (PHF) where he was blessed with many brothers and sisters in Christ. While serving at PHF he always met everyone with a hey, a smile and a hug.
After the death of his mother on July 9, 2004, Norman was welcomed with open arms to his God sent mother, Pastor Ruthie Sanford and his devoted brother, John Robinson. Also, he gained many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Kilgore; father, Russell Webb; sister, Jackie Long; brother, James Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Samuel L. Webb, David R. Webb, Charlene Webb, Elisa Webb, Gregory Long Sr. and Pat Berry-Johnson. A special mention to his bus driver, Ms. Shirley Quinn and his service and support administrator, Mr. Bentley Humphrys.
Funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, March 1, 2019 at Power House of Faith Church, 500 Edison Street. Assistant Pastor Charlene Plump officiating. Visitation 10 am Friday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery.
