Norma Jean Simmons

SIMMONS, Norma Jean, age 80, of Dayton, born April 8, 1939 in Cincinnati, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Simmons; mother, Fannie Mae Dorsey; son, LeRoy Simmons; brothers, Raymond and Oliver McCloud; granddaughter, Roderica Simmons; special friend, Cora Mae Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Roger Simmons (Ladonna), Carl Simmons (Shatone), Michael Simmons (Shanae), Bobbie Simmons Jr.; daughter, Annette Simmons; brother, William McCloud (Judy); grandsons, Darius Simmons and DeQuawn Simmons, including other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends; special friend, Barbara Town.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
