Noble Thornton, Jr.

THORNTON, Jr., Noble, age 77, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his home. Noble was born July 4, 1942 in LaGrange, Georgia to Noble Sr. and Bertha Thornton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John L. Thornton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Veronica; daughters, Ashley Graham, Stephanie Graham, Nicole Graham, and Terry Lynn Martin; sons, Bodie (Cheryl) Zellers and Stephon Zellers; grandchildren, Maurice Jr., JaMaurice, DaMauri, Maurion, Eric, A’Mariah, Ari’el and Alani; sister, Jewell; brothers, Hurley (Dorothy) Parks, George Sr. (Kay) Parks, and Charles (Pat) Thornton; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, July 22, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor George Parks, Jr. officiating. Visitation 10 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment West Memory Gardens.
