MCKNIGHT, Nichelle La'Rod, age 25, of Dayton, born December 15, 1988 in San Diego, CA, the eldest of five children, passed away March 27, 2014. A graduate of West Carrollton High School, with honors, Class of 2007. She then joined the U. S. Air Force which she was still currently active in since 2008. She worked for Ele' Cake Company, West Carrollton, OH and Soma Intimates, Beavercreek, OH. Nichelle loved her precious baby boy, Zaden Alexander McKnight and her family. She was loved and still loved by so many people. Preceded in death by her great grandmother, Ralph Ann Jones, great uncles, Ronnie Parker, Everett T. and James T. McKnight, great grandparents, Deacon Will C. and Bishop Lucy McGuffey, great aunt, Deborah L. McGuffey, aunt, Hazel L. Steptoe. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, L. Michelle Williams, father, Rodney L. McKnight, son, Zaden A. McKnight, brothers, Rodney and De'Oney O. McKnight, sisters, Jasmine and Jessica Cade and Rashani McKnight, grandmothers, Patricia L. Parker and Katherine Gaines (James), grandfather, Joe L. McKnight (Linda), aunts and uncles, Linda, Faye and Airdis Jackson, Christopher T. Robinson (Chantell), Robert J. Williams (Dedra), Willie (Marlene), John and Joan Lindsey, Margaret L. Martin (Otis), Tommy (Olivia) and Tyrone McGuffey, cousins, Tommy Jr. and Diamond McGuffey, Dwayne Baucum, John Blanks, Joanie Robinson, Jordan and William Lindsey, Otis Martin Jr., a host of other cousins, family and extended adopted family: stepmother, Wanda McKnight, stepdad, James Cade Jr., stepbrother, Djuan D. Cade, stepsister, Shakeylah Woods, the Harris and McKinney families, the Ele' family and a host of other special friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, April 18, 2014 at Greater Love Christian Church, 2345 Lakeview Ave. Bishop Michael R. Barringer officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 10 am to 1 pm. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave.
