Mary Ann Rosser, a long-time resident of the Dayton area, died Monday the 18th of February at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born in 1935 in Maysville, KY to the late Richard and Emma Mae Taylor and retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company after 30 years of service. She held various positions during her tenure but eventually retired as a Manager from the phone company.
Mary Ann enjoyed cooking to feed her family and friends and was an avid reader. Her personality was just as bold as her fiery red hair.
Preceded in death by Richard Taylor Jr., Robert E. Taylor, Raymond A. Taylor and Lloyd L. Taylor.
She is survived by her children: Vicky L. Butler, Atlanta GA, Sharon K. (Lynn) Shannon, St. Augustine FL, Derrick A. (Karen) Rosser, Columbia MD, Brett A. Rosser, Atlanta GA; brothers, Paul “Tony” Taylor, Floyd D. Taylor and sister, Delores M. Smith– all of Dayton; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation 4-7 pm Friday, February 22, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Aspire Church, 51 Best Street. Interment West Memory Gardens.
