MACLIN, Malcolm L. "Michael", was born August 17, 1962 in Covington, TN, the first of three children. He attended Blairwood Elementary and Jefferson Township High School in Dayton, OH. Malcolm professed Christ at an early age and united with St. Mark Baptist Church, Dayton, and later fellowshipped with The Market Place Movement Christian Church, Dayton, under the leadership of Bishop Robert Lyons, Jr. He worked for Green Tokai until his health began to fail.
Malcolm is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Maclin Jr.; paternal grandparents, Leslie Sr. and Hattie Mae Maclin; maternal grandparents, Graham Sr. and Armenter Ross.
Glorious loving memories will live forever in the minds and hearts of his children, Mychal “Dion” Maclin, Jaylen Maclin; granddaughter, Briella Maclin; devoted mother, Maxine Ross Maclin; sisters, Regina (Michael) Marks, LaTonya (Lenon) Hunter; niece, Jazmyne (GeJuan) Burgan; nephew, Ta’von Maclin; great niece, Amaya Burgan; devoted God-brother, Joe R. Nelson; devoted aunt, Josephine Taylor; lifelong friend/brother, Wille Cook; aunts, Katherine Morrison of Los Angeles, CA, Christine Hartzog of Covington, TN, Gloria Armstrong of Memphis, TN, Elaine (Nathaniel) Sykes of Diamond Bar, CA; a host of loving relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, June 24, 2019 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Ave. Visitation 10 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
