M. Loretta Gray

GRAY, M. Loretta, age 83, of Dayton, born July 28, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Joseph and Jannie (Montgomery) Wilson, passed away September 18, 2017. She was a middle school teacher for 20 years and spent 12 years as a school administrator. She was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by sister, Eva Joiner; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Thomas, Mildred Ivey; brother-in-law, Page Gray. She is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Gray, Sr.; daughter, Renee (James Crutcher); sons, Thomas Jr. (Donna), Joseph (Debra); sisters-in-law, Flaura Dammons, Helen Gray; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11 am Monday, September 25, 2017 at St. Luke M.B. Church, 2262 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Renard Allen officiating. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave.
