Mrs. Lovely “Corrine” Rolack, born November 22, 1923 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, departed this life for her Heavenly home with her Lord and Savior June 26, 2019. Corrine accepted and gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and loving aunt. She was a graduate of Vian High School in Vian, Oklahoma, where she was a member of the girls’ basketball team. She moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1945 and was employed at the Biltmore Hotel for many years. After leaving the Biltmore Hotel, she decided to become a self-employed Housekeeper.
While living in Dayton, Ohio, she met and married George Rolack who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her daughters, Margaret Floyd, Sherrie Cowans and Linda Edmond; parents, Rev. Cornell and Mattie Dunn; infant grandson, Charles Cowans, Jr.; four sisters and three brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Barbara Scarborough of Los Angeles, California and Carolyn Rolack of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Rev. James Dunn (Iona) of Columbia, Missouri; grandchildren—Sheila Brown, Sherrin Cowans, Teresa Cowans, Katrina Bethancourt, Shawnetta Dent, James Floyd, Leshon Rolack (Regina), Christon Powell (Whitney), Branden Davis, and Ali Cottrell II; Twenty-four great grandchildren; Twenty great-great grandchildren and Four great-great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 10 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
