Kevin R Jones

JONES, Kevin R., age 32, passed away on March 26, 2018.  Born and raised in Dayton, a graduate of Colonel White High School, Class of 2003. He resided in Cincinnati for 14 years. And was employed with the Cincinnati Police Department for nearly 9 years.  An avid lover of music, Kevin worked as a deejay for many years in high school, college and went on to own and manage his own night club for a brief time. Preceded in death by his mother, Shirley D. Jones; grandparents Cleveland & Verdell Watts, Austin Jones; uncles Sonny & Michael Watts; mother-in-love, Teresa Coleman-Searcy. Survivors include his father, Calvin D. Jones; sister, Tameka Jones- (Rashad) Young; nephews, Mekhi & Taj Young; grandmother, Bessie M. Jones; aunt, Rosalyn Jones; brothers & sisters in love, DaShana Daniels, Deion (LaKeisha) Searcy, Patrice Searcy, Jamal (Kesha) Haywood, David McCoy; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Minister Jared White officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation 9 am until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
