BATTLE, Jimmie E., born September 27, 1940 in Steele, Missouri to Samuel and Lucille Battle, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. He leaves to cherish his memory his childhood sweetheart and wife of more than 55 years, Marie; son, Victor (Yohlaunda); sister, Fleeta Coleman; special caregivers: nieces, Cassandra Williams (James), Rhonda Gary, Dymond Callen, Keyia Burrell, and nephew, Darion Allen; a host of many more nieces and nephews. Funeral service 1 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 at Ethan Temple Seventh-Day Adventist, 4000 Shiloh Springs Rd. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
