Jennie B. Shehee

SHEHEE, Jennie B., 87, passed away peacefully at Maria-Joseph nursing home Tuesday, January 7, 2020. She was born in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Della and Courtney Cooper. Jennie lived in Dayton, Ohio for over 80 years. She was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, faithful in her service as an Usher up until health complications. There were so many other activities Jennie loved being a part of outside of her home, but most of all her Family knew the Love she had for them and would hear from her daily.

She is preceded in death by her children, Larry, Terry and Gary Shehee; granddaughter, Ericka Rutledge; grandsons, Gary Shehee Jr., Breon Rutledge; siblings, Margaret, Cecil and Grace Prewitt, Catherine Pullen, Chester, Strawder and Hoover Cooper, Roberta Gay.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Linda Shehee and Brenda Rutledge (Shehee); sons, Jeffrey Shehee and Kevin (Michele) Shehee; special granddaughter, Laticia D. Rutledge; sisters, Emma Nelson, Josephine Spear and Dorothy Donaphin; a host of grandchildren, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 1 pm Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Mt. Moriah M. B. Church, 301 Mia Ave. Dr. Herman L. Walker officiating. Visitation 12 noon at which time family will receive friends. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
