Isaac C. Ellington, Sr.

ELLINGTON, Sr., Isaac C., born May 12, 1948 in Dayton, was given the keys to heaven January 31, 2018. He was a graduate of Roth High School, Class of 1967. He retired from Dayton Power & Light Co. after 37 years of service. He was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Jethro and Sarah Ellington; brothers, Jethro, Bobby and Frank Sr.; sister, Lila; son, Isaac C. Ellington Jr. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his sister, Ava (Tommy) Hodge; sister-in-law, Meredith; sons, Willie, Michael, Andre, David, Stevon; daughter, Aretha (Nathan) Ellington-Jones; 12 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service 11 am Monday, February 12, 2018 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 380 S. Broadway St. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
