Evangeline Marie Lee, a lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio, born June 27, 1952 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joe and Johnnie Margie Robinson, departed this life Monday, May 7, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends at Hospice of Dayton. She professed Christ at a very early age and became a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in the latter part of her life where she served on the Usher Board Ministry. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1970, and retiree from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Marie, affectionately known as “Robby Lee”, was a proud and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a wonderful woman who loved the Lord and always had a positive outlook on life. When she was around, there was no negative talk, and she always had a good time no matter where she went. She loved her family, friends, a good dish of pasta and music. She was passionate in helping others, gardening, and dancing, traveling and enjoyed playing card games. She enjoyed living life to the fullest encouraging loved ones along the way. She had a compassionate heart and a giving spirit even if it meant giving her last. As only He can do, the Lord sent His heavenly host of angels to escort her home: for she is now in the presence of the Lord, and we are eternally grateful.
