Edward M. McCormick

MCCORMICK, Edward M. (MSgt, USAF, Ret.), age 78, of Dayton, born March 23, 1940 in Xenia, OH, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Siena Woods. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Post Commander of the American Legion Post 776 from 1991 to 1993. Preceded in death by his parents, Rosetta Greer Johnson and Luther McCormick; brothers, Greer, Luther, Theodore. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Eric (Shelly) McCormick, Brian McCormick, Stacey (Janette) McCormick, all of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Maeleen, Lee and Sierra McCormick; many nephews, nieces, especially Lisa Jackson and Kevin Jackson (for everything they have done), cousins and friends. Funeral service 11 am Thursday, August 23, 2018 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Minister Richard Buford officiating. Visitation 9 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
