Edward Hawkins, Jr.

HAWKINS, Jr., Mr. Edward, of Clayton, OH, born December 13, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee, departed this life April 27, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. After 20 years of honorable service, he retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was also the President of Hawkins, Hamilton, & Lloyd Computer Programming Company (H, H, & L) for 15 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved and devoted wife, Mollie J. Hawkins; seven children, 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother, one Godson, three brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be held 12 noon Monday, May 8, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1 Diamond Ave. Visitation 9 am-12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am-12 pm. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave.
