Eddie W. Stokes, Jr.

STOKES, Jr., Eddie W., a lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio, born October 10, 1943 to the late Eddie W. Sr. and Mary E. Stokes, departed this life December 28, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1963, a retiree of General Motors with 30 years of service, and a member of First Baptist Church of Ridgewood Heights. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 45 years, Mildred A. Stokes; children, Rhonda A. Stokes, Tamarus Stokes, Everett W. Stokes, Erskine (D'Licia) Stokes; siblings, Mary E. (Jesse) Thorne, Tommy E. Stokes Sr., Eddy L. Martin; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 4, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Ridgewood Heights, 116 Hanover Street. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
