Dorothy E. Boatwright

Boatwright, Dorothy E., devoted wife and mother, born July 17, 1927, departed this life December 30, 2018. Dorothy was deeply committed to God and church. She retired from the VA Medical Center. Preceded in death by husband, John Boatwright; parents, Samuel and Lylea Underwood Chase; 5 siblings. She is survived by loving sons, John Boatwright Jr., Gary Boatwright; grandchildren, Kashawn (Michael) Kelly, Savanna Duehart Boatwright, Joy Woodall; great granddaughters, Imari and Mykala Kelly; great-great grandson, Misyah Stewart; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Shiloh M. B. Church, 3801 Fairbanks Ave. Visitation 10 am at which time family will receive friends.
