WILLS, Mrs. Dorothella Mae (Dillard), age 89, a resident of Dayton for over 60 years, born October 20, 1928 in Herndon, KY, departed this life Monday, July 16, 2018 at home. She accepted Christ as her Savior, Redeemer and Friend at an early age. She never lost her faith in God, and called on Him daily thanking and praising him for all her many, many blessings, even when her body was in pain. Preceded in death by her parents, Hillary and Zadie Dillard; husband, Rev. William Wills Sr.; daughter, Cynthia K. Wills; granddaughters, Lisa Dillard, Malinda Turner, Earlisha Wills, Augustine Phillips; grandson, Nigel Turner; sisters, Lezora and Irene Coleman, Leddie Bucker, Priscilla (Amos) Oglesby; brothers, Alvin (LueAnnia) and E.C. (Myrtis) Dillard; loving stepmother, Ora Bell Dillard. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Betty Dillard, Louise Wills of Hopkinsville, KY, Dorothy Phillips, Alice Wills, Rose (Claudie) Turner; sons, William Jr., Earl and Darryl Wills, all of Dayton; brother, Leroy (Wanda) Dillard of Hopkinsville, KY; 29 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 44 great-great grandchildren; a host of marvelous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 1 pm Monday, July 23, 2018 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. John Williams officiating. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm. Interment West Memory Gardens.
