Derrick Eugene Weaver, Sr.

WEAVER, Sr., Derrick Eugene, age 51, a longtime resident of Trotwood, Ohio, departed this life July 13, 2018 at home. He was born December 4, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ralph Weaver and Laura Liggins (Coleman). Derrick served in the U. S. Army early in his life and retired from the US Postal Service. He later obtained a B.A. in Broadcasting and Communications. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Felicia; children, Ryanne Weaver, Derrick Weaver Jr., and Quentin Weaver; sisters, Cheryl Weaver, Dietra Weaver-Howell (Bruce); sisters-in-law, Faustina Snipes-Moore (Darryn), Lucy Snipes-Gales (George); brother-in-law, James Snipes Jr.; four grandchildren; a host of family and friends. Graveside service 1 pm Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third St. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
