JONES, Davionte Lavon “TAY”, 22, born October 8, 1994, transitioned from this life May 25, 2017. Preceded in death by great grandmothers, Della Morrow, Florence Bagley, and Helen Price; great grandfather, King David Preston Sr.; grandfather, Jimmy Jones; grandmother, Trannie B. Jones; uncles, Wade Brown, JD Murphy, Sherman Lightfoot, King David Preston III, and Stavon Person. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted parents, whom he loved dearly, mother, Cristle L. Jones, and father, LaVar E. Bagley Sr. (Britney); son, Quashawn Martin; faithful grandparents:  his best “Granny” in the whole wide world, Belinda M. Preston-Cash, grandfather, Charles E. Cash Jr., and Clarence Bagley (Desiree); great grandparents, George Bagley (Ann); siblings, Dynasty, Destiny, Dashawn, Dasha, Mike, Gorgeous, LaVar Jr., LaVar Elizabeth; nephew, Djuan Hall; great aunts, Betty and Patricia Murphy, Cathy Lightfoot, Brenda Carter, and Jane Fonda; great uncles, King Preston Jr., Robert and Forest Murphy; uncles, Charles, Sammie (Tasha), Norman and Kenyon Jones (Jessica), Shonray McDade; aunts, Loudella Murphy, LaToya (Jeff) Bagley James, LaQuisha Jackson, Betty Ann and Jeannie Mae Jones, Stacey Slauter; special cousins, Anthony Watkins (Mercedes), Dalaquian, Luther and Ronnie Jones, Donald Hill, Darrion and Chris Lee, Keith Harris Jr., and LaMarcus Jones; a host of many, many other family and friends. Funeral service 1 pm Monday, June 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 116 Hanover Ave. Pastor Rodney Cranford Sr. officiating. Visitation 10-11 am. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm.
